PREMIER CYCLES are proud to be a sponsor and sole provider of cycles and equipment for the Arctic-Premier Race Team. We have provided our flagship full carbon framesets to the team, which are equipped with Shimano Dura-ace groupsets.

The Arctic team has been in existence for more than 11 years and has seen many wins along the way. With the link-up to PREMIER CYCLES, the team hopes to have many more successes in years to come.

On the 28th of March 2008, the team with its new livery was revealed to the press and public at the presentation launch at the Holiday Inn hotel in Swiss Cottage, London.

2009 sees four new riders for the Arctic-Premier Racing Team: Ryan Bonser, Richard Hepworth, Richard Kent, and Richard Handley will be joining the team from the North West. Wanting to maintain a strong Arctic-Premier presence in Premier Calendar events, which over the years have developed a considerable Northern bias, the team has moved to strengthen their squad with riders local to the north.

The team will draft in the services of their current top riders to Premiers action, but takes into account the fact that with so many new events - particularly circuit series - they will be able to show support to and fly the Arctic-Premier flag in these new events, rather than spreading themselves too thinly and achieving little.

The 2009 Team are Danny Axford, Darren Barclay, Jody Crawforth, Matt Holmes, Andy Proffitt, James Dobin, Tim Bayley, Simon Wilson, Jon Kris Mason, David McGaw, Oliver Graham, Alistair Tullet and Junior Alec Briggs. With the Four New Riders it's a big 14 man Premier Senior Team.

The team will also move forward with their successful elite cyclo cross team featuring; Jody Crawforth, Matt Holmes, Darren Barclay and Alistair Tullet. The four will also race the criterium and road races in the spring and summer.
